Welcome to Day 3 of the Stamp School release countdown.

Tomorrow the new products will be available for purchase at Stamp School's sister site, A Walk Down Memory Lane.  I want to give you a little background on AWDML before sharing my card.

A Walk Down Memory Lane has been an online and Brick and Mortar stamping and scrapbooking store since 2003. Stamp School will eventually be looking into wholesaling our stamps, but for now, you can buy our stamps at our online store at A Walk Down Memory Lane.  A Walk Down Memory Lane has flat rate shipping on any order under $75 to the Continental USA. If your order is $75 or more your order ships free to anywhere in the Continental USA.  For our International Customers we also offer a flat rate depending on what country we ship to. IF your order ships for less than the flat rate, we will credit you back the difference, so you only pay actual costs.  You can find all of AWDML’s new products by clicking on the New Products tab.  You can find all of Stamp Schools products by searching by manufacturer under Stamp School.

Now for my card:

Made Especially For You

Happy Monday!  Today is my final challenge on the Made Especially For You Design Team.  I've had such a wonderful time getting to know my fellow designers and being a part of the team.  Plus the challenges always push me to be a better crafter.  Toay's challenge is a sketch, take a look:
Beckie from Just B Creative Crazy has been promoted to Made Especially For You's Sketch Designer.  She did a fabulous job with this sketch!  Way to go Beckie.  This week's sponsor is K'nK Designs.  The winner will receive their choice of 3 digital stamp sets.

Here's my card:

I Papertrey Inked this card out!  LOVE LOVE LOVE the new Simply Jane stamp set and Script Sentiments.  I also used the Classic Kraft Ribbon, Dearest Jane patterned paper, and Simply Jane Dies.  I also added Liquid Pearls and a Maya Road pin.  Thank goodness my wedding anniversary was January 24th and I had an excuse to buy myself something.  I was doing Hubby a "favor" by buying my own gift, so he didn't have to get me anything ; )

Visit Made Especially For You to see the DT's take on this darling sketch and play along for your chance to win!

Loved making this little card.  I also loved breaking out the hole punch to thread my ribbon thru the card.  Such a fun technique that I never use!  This month's sentiment set is fabulous, the fonts are beautiful.

That's all for today.  Visit out Stamp School to see the Design Team's creations using these fun new products.  And stop by tomorrow for Day 3 of the countdown.

Stamp School Countdown Day 1

Has it already been a month since the first release at Stamp School ???  I've had so much fun learning new techniques, color combos, and sketches this month from the Design Team.

For February SS is releasing 2 more stamp sets that are absolutely adorable and so fun to play with.  Plus several new colors of Pop Tone cardstock, felt, and ink.  I have a little sneak peek to share today:

This card makes me smile!  Oh how I adore Easter and Spring.  It's like nature finally wakes and it amazes me each year.  Nothing makes me happier than seeing trees bud, chicks being hatched, butterflies!  So this little card was inspired by all those feelings.

Each month Stamp School will be releasing 2 stamp sets, a sentiment and themed set.  Stamp school will also be showcasing Pop Tones Cardstock with matching ink and felt, available at A Walk Down Memory Lane, Stamp School's sister site.

Visit Stamp School to see the Design Teams sneak peeks of February's releases and visit tomorrow for Day 2 of the countdown.

Berries & Cherries

Hi guys!  Been neglecting my little blog this week...but I've not been neglecting blogging.  My fingers are about to fall off I've done so many DT posts tonite, but it's all fun work.  Have a card tonite that I made for the Taylored Expressions Sketch 151, here's the sketch:

I didn't own any Taylored Expressions Stamps till Christmas.   Lets just say Santa Claus must be a Taylored Expressions fan (or could it have been my Mom???).  I'm in love with TE stamps, the quality and detail are just amazing.  Here's my card:

I used TE and Papertrey Ink Cardstock.  My patterned paper is My Mind's Eye.  I used the Taylored Expressions Berries & Cherries Stamp set.  I added a doily and Liquid Pearl.  I colored my image with Copics.  I just love the little cherry border.

Have another card to share tonite that I made for Practical Scrappers.  The girls at PS wanted to show some examples of crafty uses for ribbon on cards.

Ah, how I love ribbon...let me count the ways!  Especially this beautiful silk ribbon from Mays Art.  This little card reminds me of my blue bird box in the back yard....and guess what, I saw the little male blue bird checking out his box this week.  I'm hoping that's a sign of an early Spring.  Do you have trouble tying the perfect bow?  I highly recommend getting a piece of scrap ribbon and checking out You Tube ribbon videos.  Practice till you find a technique that works for you.

Enjoy!

They will also be sharing their creations as inspiration for all of us! How exciting is this????  Such a great opportunity and I can't wait to get to work.  Expect a ton of Momenta projects from me in the future.

Made Especially For You

Welcome back to another Monday challenge from Made Especially For You.  This week we want you to think "friend".
Create a card especially for a friend.

This challenge was fun, because I usually make cards for occasions...not a specific person.  This week's Sponsor is Designs on Cloud 9.  They are offering the winner a $20 voucher to their site!  Super prize!

Here's my card:

This little card features Pop Tones and Papertrey Ink cardstock.  My stamps are Taylored Expressions that I colored with Copics.  I used my oval Nestabilities and Stickles.  My ribbon is Ribbon Reel, stick pin is Maya Road, and button is Crate Paper.

Next week is my last challenge with Made Especially For You.  I've loved being a part of their very first Design Team.  I recently read an article at DT Calls on "Why I love Being a Design Team Member" by the very talented Erika Taylor.  Check it out!  And visit Made Especially For You to see the DT's beautiful friendship cards.

Clean & Simple

Hi all!  Who's ready for the weekend?  I've got a fun little card to share tonite that I made for Practical Scrappers - a CAS card.  I really struggle with the simple card designs, because I want to embellish embellish embellish. Tomorrow you can visit Practical Scrappers and see lots of design team inspiration for CAS cards:

Oh how I loved Taylored Expressions stamps!  For this card I used Pop Tones Cardstock and My Mind's Eye patterned paper.  I stamped my cupcake and sentiment with PTI ink.  My cupcake was colored with Copics and I added Stickles for shine.

I'm working on the next reveal for Stamp School.  Today I posted a simple flower tutorial at the Teacher's Lounge...all you need are scalloped Nestabilies and felt.

And news from The Sampler Kit Club.  We are having lots of challenges and super giveaways!  Play along with our card and sketch challenges to be entered in a Sampler Giveaway.  Here's a little something I made with my January Sampler Kit:

Lots Of Love

This week at The Cutting Cafe we are focusing on "love".  There are so many "lovely" files to help with your Valentine plans or if you just want to send a special treat to a "loved" one.  This week I used 2 files, the heart bag and the heart shaped card.  I adore Valentine's Day and making crafts this time of year.  You get to be "over the top" with hearts, flowers, pinks, and reds!  Take a look:

I used Papertrey Ink cardstock to make my bag.  My ribbon and lace is Really Reasonable Ribbon.  The heart pp is MME.  And my ruffled bag topper is Melissa Frances.  This little bag is adorable and big enough to hold several treats in.  I also made a coordinating card:

I used Pop Tones Cardstock and Felt to make this little heart card.  My lace is Ribbon Reel and letters are MME.  I also used Stickles around my heart edges.

Such an easy way to dress up the simpliest gift.  Visit The Cutting Cafe for more inspiration from the Design Team.  Enjoy!!!

The Blues

Hi all!  How's everyone's Wednesday going?  It's been rainy here in Kentucky and we're expecting a couple inches of snow tomorrow nite.  It would actually be nice to see a "little" snow before Winter's over.

Have a card tonite that's all blue.  I'm entering it in the Moxie Fab World Die Cutting Challenge.  I'm also playing along with this week's Ribbon Carousel Challenge 35:

And The Shabby Tea Room Week 96:

Here's my card:

OK I'd be lying if I said this card didn't come together perfectly.  I rarely wake up early because I work nite shift, but sometimes on my days off when I do get up early....seems like I'm super inspired, lol.  So I whipped this beauty up this morning.  I used Pop Tones Cardstock.  My sentiment, blue ink, and doily die are Papertrey Ink.  I used Stickles, silky ribbon, and goodies from Jillibean Soup.  My pin is Maya Road.  I inked the edges of my card with brown Martha Stewart Ink.  When you add lots of inked edges and layers to your card it builds so easily.  I highly recommend trying multiple layers of cardstock, adding lots of embellishments, and inking edges.  And I've also shared my latest addiction with you lately - Stickles and Liquid Pearls.  I have used these products for years, but one day I stumbled upon Sankari's Sunshine Corner and I was amazed!  It's always fun to fall in love with an old product!

Later today, the first sneak peek at Inspired By Stamping's January Releases.  Believe me, if you are a fan of Valentine's, you will adore Joanna's sets this month!!!

And I'd love for you to stop by The Cutting Cafe and check out the Design Teams projects using the Long Sentiment Tags and enter for a chance to win goodies from The Cutting Cafe.

This and That

Hi bloggy friends.  Hope your week is going well.  I've had to work the last couple of nites and I'm pooped!  Planning a baby shower this weekend for a good friend - duck themed of course.  Speaking of ducks everything's been quiet on the farm the past few weeks.  We have deer everywhere, usually when I open the door at nite to take the dogs out, there's 6-8 in my yard looking at me.  They've destroyed two of my holly bushes and 1 small spruce.  Gonna have to run the deer off obviously, lol...or do a lot of landscaping this Spring.  I usually tell Hubby it's the circle of life and the animals have a right to eat too, but I really liked my hollies.

We are having a new challenge at The Sampler - a card challenge.  Here's the inspirational photo for January:

Samplercardchallenge1

Cute - kraft and hearts, is there anything better!  And here is my card I made using January's Sampler Kit - Ready, Set, Go:

Ssrujanuary-e

Sweet and simple.  I really adore the My Mind's Eye patterned paper and wooden letters from Pink Paislee.  You could paint them, distress, them, anything you can think of.  I like the natural look myself, but the sky's the limit.  Visit The Sampler Kit Club to enter our card contest, a random winner will receive a goodie pack from The Sampler

I also wanted to share a card I made tonite using the darling new stamps from A Walk Down Memory Lane - Natural Landscape and Christian Sympathy.

I used Pop Tones Cardstock for this card.  It's really great cardstock that is so easy to stamp on - plus there is coordinating ink pads so everything flows together beautifully.  It's also available at AWDML.  I wanted my card to look "windy" and stamped my dandelionns to look like they were blowing away.  I added some Stickles for shine.  Visit Stamp School - AWDML's sister site to be inspired by the Design Team and get lots of crafty ideas!

This is also "realease week" at Inspired By Staming.  Visit Thursday to see the first of 3 days of previews for the new stamps that will be available for purchase this weekend.
