Happy Thanksgiving!!!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Hope all my blog buddies have enjoyed the parade, the good food, and now some football! This week at Die Cuts R us each DT member has made a project and shared what she is thankful for. I wanted to share my Blessings book with you:

I have to work this Thanksgiving. But I am thankful God has given me the opportunity to help sick children thru the holidays. It really was a wake-up call my first year as a nurse when I had to work during the holidays. I never thought about who would take care of the sick during this time. It really made me realize just how blessed I was. It made me realize that the holidays are less about a "date" on the calendar and more about the love in your heart.
We often get caught up in the activity of the holidays and forget about the sick, the troops, the less fortunate. Keep these people in your Prayers.

Hope you have a very merry Turkey Day!!!

What a sweet book and thought. I'm sure you were a blessing to those children and their parents, as well. I still remember a favorite nurse we had when my dd was in the hospital 16 years ago with Hemolytic Uremic Syndrome. It was such a scary time and Nola B. was such a blessing to us!!!
