Autumn Splendor

I'm off all week on vacation and staying home to do some work around the barns and house.  And I plan to do my Fall decorating this week, adding pumpkins and leaves to everything in site!  I'm really not a fan of Autumn.  I still get the going back to school feeling, even though my last year of college was 2001.  But Autumn is my favorite "scrappy" time of the year.  Love scrapping Fall  pictures and making seasonal cards.  The oranges and reds are colors I usally don't use much, so I love the chance to craft with them.

Today  I've got a little altered card to share with you using pretty ribbon and lace from Really Reasonable Ribbon.  Here is the outside of my envelope:

This is a Maya Road envelope and I simply pulled the sides apart and cut them off to make the card open like this:

I added this cute little turkey and a pretty sentiment to finish my Thanksgiving greeting.   How cute would this be as a gift tag for pecan pie or pumpkin roll for the holidays?

Next up is another Autumn card:

I just love the jar stamps and fillers from Papertrey Ink.  These little pumpkins were so fun to color.

And last but not least, a spooktacular card:

You can find all of my ribbon and lace at Really Reasonable Ribbon.  I can hardly create without using ribbon on  project.  My patterned papers is My Mind's Eye.

Enjoy!!!
