Cuttlebug Luv Bug Weekend!

OK, I'm hoping you've been to visit my tutorial at Cuttlebug Challenges Blog. If you've not, go there first....my Treat Tin Tutorial posted at 7PM.
Now to show you 1 more trick with the Cuttlebug. I used medium Glassine Bags from Papretrey Ink. They are the perfect size to fit into a cuttlebug folder. I used Swiss Dots to emboss my bag.

Then I cut a rectangle out of cardstock the same width of my bag. I then stamped it and folded it in half.

Next fill your bag with your choice of treats, I chose doggie bones. Staple your bag topper in place.

Then tie a pretty ribbon around your bag to hide the staple. That's all there is to it.

Now for my blog candy. Here's what's up for grabs.

Leave a message here and tell me your favorite thing about the Luv Bug Weekend and I'll pick a winner Monday. If you entered for the blog candy the other nite, then go ahead and leave a comment to double your chances to win, I'll put your name in the hat twice. I just want to thank everyone for participating in our Blog Hop, I've had so much fun! Good Luck!

That's a really neat trick with your Cuttlebug. The doggie bag and "treats" turned out great. Sometimes we forget about our little BEST friends on four feet!!! Great idea Amber.
I've really enjoyed the blog hop, never dreamed I'd take part in one. I've enjoyed meeting all the fresh ideas. Every blog so different in many ways. I've saved most addresses and will be stopping by often.

My favorite part about the luv bug weekend was seeing the various tutorials, projects, and seeing so many blogs at once that I never knew existed! I love the treat tins, and I had never thought of embossing bags before. That's a great and very unique idea that I'll have to try soon. P.S. I've got a Google id now. I emailed you---Stephanie Doan

What fun it was and its so nice to be able to run through again just to take more time at each site. I especially liked the relationship to Cuttlebug. This is awesome - the printed or embossed bags are SO expensive (when I could be spending the money on stamps or embossing folders or something!) I think that's the best part of the luv bug weekend - so many new ideas that my head is spinning!

What a cute, cute treat bag, Amber! I've made many a goody bag with the folded over topper, but have never thought to emboss the bag. I've always used the clear cello bags, but this is a fabulous idea. You might get me wanting a die-cut system after all! ;)
You were right in picking out Layla's breed. She is indeed a Great Pyrenese. She's getting a bit better, but she's always been a jumper, which is bad with a dog that size. She barks like crazy, too, and sounds like sonic booms going off in the neighborhood. But, she is a sweetheart for sure.
And thanks for the tips about the biking trails. I know I'm not up for that yet, but wouldn't it be cool if I got there? I'm borrowing my son's bike now, and don't have any of the proper riding gear. But if I continue to be into it, I can see where I'm going to have to get myself all set up!
