Very early Good Morning to you Amber! There is not much I don't like about Valentine's Day... red, white, pink, chocolate, cinnamon hearts, flowers,family, friends, hugs and kisses. To watch my children create heart cards... remembering helping them, when they were very little, to go through their class lists and seeing them excitedly scrawl the names in thier "childprint". Too cute!! Receiving those beautiful heart cards my kids made at school for me. It is the day when being mushy and sentimental is cool. But mostly I like Valentine's Day because it is the day you are reminded how good it truly is to carry your heart on your sleeve !!

What I like about Valentine's Day?? I think just getting that little brown, decorated bag in elementary school.I'd go home and look at each card and at that age you always put more meaning in the card than was really there. I still have some of these somewhere.

Why do I love Valentine's day...because it is just another day to celebrate the people I love. My husband of course, but also my pups, my little brother, my parents, my inlaws...everyone who is special to me. While the romance part is nice, I prefer the part that is just about love. :)

Valentine's Day: hmmm, chocolate! Flowers! Cards!Day spent with by dh of 41 years :-). It just stands for lots of love... for my dh, my daughters, my 3 grandkids... not to mention all my wonderful friends!And it means Spring is close at hand! It's a nice break in thought anyway from winter (even though I live in Florida... we've been rather chilly here lately!). But no white stuff (snow and ice). Had enough of that in Wyoming for 19 years :)

I love Valentine's Day because it is exactly 6 months from our anniversary. My husband and not always been with me to celebrate our anniversary (38 of them) but he hasn't missed one Valentines Day.

I love valentines day not for the normal reasons people love it. Every Valentines day me my DH and 2 of our best couple friends that the men have been friends over 25 years and all thier wives like each other. We all go out to a resturant we can only afford to go to once a year and have a great time with great friends! It doesnt hurt the the resturant we choose actually knows how to take and KEEP reservations even on V-day!

What I love about Valentine's Day is that Abby is really into it this year! Everyone is a "sweetie" and we have purchased more boxes of Valentine's than I care to remember. Want a Pooh, Darby, Tigger, Wall-E, or Disney?

And manly men like pink, so he should be ok! ;) The thing I love most about Valentine's Day is that everyone seems to be more gentler, kinder, etc on that day... I don't know if it's my wishful thinking or looking at the world through rosy glasses, but I think since it's a holiday people are more aware of the love they have in their hearts and lives so they are just nicer to those they come in contact with that day! Cheesy, I know, but I love it! The world needs more days like that!

I used to hate Valentine's Day because it was my first husband's birthday and he always said, "you don't buy others presents on your birthday" so I never got anything on Valentine's Day. My second husband is just the greatest guy in the world and always remembers me, so Valetine's Day is just another day he shows me how much he loves me.

Why do I love Valentine's Day? Hmmm...flowers and chocolate for starters. But mostly for the handmade cards from my little ones.
Here's one for you Ber...(although I know that I can't actually win yours because I'm fam) What I love about V'day...not getting any more polar bear stuffed animals. One V'day when we were dating, I was certain a ring was on the way...He had been extra secretive. My hopes were high....I got a stuffed polar bear holding a baby bear and a box of candy. Talk about let down....although I never let on at the time, I did tell him years later and we had a good laugh.
I love making valentine's with my kids to pass out at school. :)
